As per reports, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 passenger jet Nairobi crashed on Sunday with 149 passengers and eight crew members.
According to the reports, flight ET 302 crashed near town of Bishouftu, which is 62 kilometres southeast of the capital Addis Ababa. Reports points that the flight left Bole airport in Addis Ababa at 8.38am, before losing contact with the control tower.
The airline said that “Search and rescue operations are in progress and we have no confirmed information about survivors or any possible casualties,”
The Prime Minister’s office sent the condolences through Twitter to the families of the deceased., without revealing further details.
